We've done worst exterior colors already, so why not look at interior colors? Try to stick to factory colors on production cars from 1990 to the present. No custom or factory special order jobs.
This one is a 1996 Ford Taurus GL with a Rose Mist exterior and what I believe is a Grey-Violet interior.
What was Ford thinking?

I'm not sure if I like the orange seats in the Volvo R-models:
It's right on the limit between awesome and hideous..

At least the interior isn't entirely one color like the Taurus. That would take the Volvo past the limit of awesome and into hideous.

It's unique and badass, unlike the dull purplish fuzz interiors seen in old Japanese/American cars. It's oddly attractive.

Nissan Versa. I could not believe how bad it was when I saw it.

Ford definitely was on something in the early-mid 90's
94 Ford Thunderbird. We had one of these (Not a supercoupe like this) and it's a shame, because it had the BEST interior layout of any car in the 90's

I could never really take BMW's mint green interior in the e39 5-series. It didn't just look strange... but one would think BMW would have known better.

I'm voting late 90ies Toyota Corolla (euro spec)
It looks pretty much like this - best picture I could find - and the doors are covered in matching fabric. You get in, and instantly, its like GAAH!

I'm not sure which is worse, the yellow or the teal:

Mercedes, you know the brand that should be oozing class and style, had some pretty nasty interiour colors for their cars. This is a W202 (think "His Stigness" C-class), but they offered them before and even for some time after that.

Bwaaahh! Why did Ford do this?

That could be it's own question entirely, "What's the Worst Seat Fabric Pattern in a Modern Car?". That Corolla is certainly high on the list. At least the interior color itself isn't too terrible.

Hmm, I saw an American mid sized ford sedan that was just a mess of ovals.. I don't know the name, so I can't find it. Which I guess is good for your eyes.
I will bring you this German nightmare. It is a personal favourite, the Porsche 928 GTS. But the interior of this one, oh dear me! Did I mention that it is the most expensive one on sale in Germany currently?

My Grandfather had a 1g Probe GT with the exact same color interior.

I believe the Ford you are thinking of is the Ford Taurus, which is actually featured in the original post.
The green interior in that 928 GTS is especially bad.

Hehe yeah I thought the same about five seconds after I posted, but then I thought: Nah, it could have even more ovals!

That color would look alright in a Mercedes from the 70's or early to mid '80s, but not on a Mercedes from the '90s. That seat fabric pattern looks like it belongs on a hotel room sofa.

How do you have a touch screen...and these fucking seats:
2012 Ford Transit Connect I believe these are still in production...and Ford fails again at interior.

The Thunderbird was supposed to emulate the little birds from the 1950s down to interior colors it seems.
